Old Switcher removed, Support forum up.
Just a notice that the Old World Switcher has been removed. It was replaced by Version 3 quite some time ago now and so it is obsolete, and I have finally decided to remove it today because (A.) There would be too much work involved to keep it up to date, and (B.) According to site statistics, nobody uses it anymore (and they haven't for quite some time). Only reason I ever left it up, was to give people a choice whether they wanted to use the Version 3 Client, or The Old Switcher, but since nobody uses/has used the old switcher anymore there is no more reason to keep it up.
And as you may have noticed, the link that used to say "Old Switcher" has now been changed to "Forums". This links to a forum specially created for EvilSwitch Version 3 users to post any bugs or broken worlds that they find while using the Version 3 Client so that I can get on the ball and fix them as they are found. You can also give your feedback about what you think about Version 3, and suggestions for future updates to the Version 3 Client. I would also like to comment, that ANYONE can post in the support forum, whether they register an account or not, but be aware that posting anything offensive or obscene will get you an IP ban from said forums.
An Important Update...
Over the course of the weekend, Jagex changed the URL's of many of the RuneScape worlds (more than half, in fact), and that caused those worlds not to work in the Version 3 client if you were trying to get to them using the URL bar. In this update today, I have fixed all those links in the Version 3 client and now when you type 'World (whatever)', it will once again go to that world. I have also updated the pages at /world1/, /world2/, /world3/, /world18/, and /world22/, so now they all work again as well. I'm sorry I took a bit on this update, it completely slipped by me until now and I will be more alert of changes in the future to get on top of them as quickly as possible!

Actually, scratch that...
The new host I was planning on moving the site to isn't all as good as I thought it would be, so EvilSwitch stays right where it is for now.
Planned downtime this weekend.
There will be some downtime for evilswitch.com this weekend. This will be due to some planned changes to site DNS records and shouldn't last longer than 24 hours (and I say shoudn't because theres always room for error). Apologies in advance for any inconveniences, but this is something I feel needs to be done in preparation for switching to the new host when it comes time.

Just a notice that EvilSwitch may be moving to a new host soon, and of course with that there will be downtime. I found a better host than the one that I am currently using, and if they are as reliable uptime-wise as the current one, the move will be made. More to come.
